You have the choice of three distinct Warlords. Lord Kaphrael, leading the Callous Blades, specializes in eliminating enemy champions. Xarahan personifies the arrogance and egotism central to the Emperor's Children's ethos. And then there's the infamous Lucius the Eternal, whose exceptional swordsmanship has been honed over countless years.

I see you tremble with anticipationThe Emperor's Children introduce chilling mechanics that enhance their units. Cards with the Ecstasy trait gain an effect when their health drops to a certain level. Those marked with Cruelty benefit from damaging, but not destroying, an enemy unit. The Stimulation trait activates an ability when the unit is targeted by stratagems. Additionally, Combat Elixirs cause some cards to generate extra stratagems, which can be used to trigger their abilities.
