The highly anticipated title is set to launch globally on **May 30**, with early access available depending on your region and platform. As expected, release times vary slightly across time zones, offering some players a chance to dive in before others.

For example, players on the U.S. West Coast (Pacific Time Zone) will be able to access the game as early as **9 PM on May 29**. Meanwhile, PC gamers gain an added advantage—many regions allow them to start playing earlier than console users. On the U.S. East Coast, PC players can jump in at **6 PM on May 29**, while console owners must wait until midnight on May 30.

Pre-load availability has also been confirmed, with players able to download the game up to **48 hours before their scheduled release time** on PlayStation, Xbox, and Steam platforms. This ensures you’re ready to jump into the action the moment it goes live.

In a recent interview with IGN, *Elden Ring: Nightreign* director Junya Ishizaki explained the game’s focus on solo and three-player co-op experiences. When asked about the lack of a dedicated two-player mode, Ishizaki admitted that it was simply overlooked during development.

"The simple answer is that this is simply something that was overlooked during development as just a two-player option, so we're very sorry about that," said Ishizaki. "We set out to make this a multiplayer co-op game for three players, balanced for three players, so that was the main focus."

He went on to explain that while solo play was carefully considered and optimized, the duo experience wasn't prioritized during development. However, the team is now exploring potential post-launch updates to support two-player gameplay.
