Drecom teases new release with Hungry Meem
Drecom, the creators of Wizardry Variants: Daphne, have dropped a cryptic teaser for their upcoming game, Hungry Meem. Details are scarce, but the intrigue is palpable. This is a refreshing change from the usual immediate reveals by larger companies.
While platform and gameplay remain shrouded in mystery, a teaser website featuring peculiar creatures near a tree stump is already live. A full reveal, potentially including the game's launch, is scheduled for January 15th.
Drecom's previous successes, including Wizardry Variants: Daphne (released on mobile last year) and the enduringly popular One Piece: Treasure Cruise, suggest a promising project.
Feeling hungry? The limited information presents a challenge. The "push a button on X" promotional strategy hints at a mobile release. Speculation points towards a creature-collecting game, perhaps with AR elements – a "gotta catch 'em all" style. We await the official announcement later this month for confirmation. Given Drecom's history of experimentation, surprises are likely.
