Dragon Quest X Arrives on Mobile (Japan)
Dragon Quest X Offline, a single-player version of the popular MMORPG, is launching on iOS and Android in Japan tomorrow! Japanese players can purchase the offline version at a discounted price, enjoying the game's unique real-time combat and other MMORPG features on mobile. This release marks a return to mobile plans initially discussed back in 2013.
The offline version, originally released for consoles and PC in 2022, offers a standalone experience, unlike the original 2012 release. While this mobile port is exciting news for Japanese fans, there's currently no word on a global release.
