This adapter, as NyanSatan revealed, utilizes iOS-based firmware and a processor clocking up to 168 MHz. The process involved accessing the adapter's firmware and then executing the game. A MacBook was used to facilitate firmware transfer due to the adapter's lack of internal memory.
Meanwhile, news on a new DOOM iteration surfaces: DOOM: The Dark Ages. This game prioritizes accessibility, allowing players to adjust demon aggression in the settings. The developers emphasize extensive customization options, exceeding those found in previous id Software titles.
Executive producer Marty Stratton highlighted the focus on accessibility. Players can modify enemy damage, difficulty, projectile speed, damage received, and other parameters like game pace, aggression levels, and parry timing.
Furthermore, Stratton confirmed that prior DOOM experience isn't necessary to understand the narratives of DOOM: The Dark Ages or its connection to DOOM: Eternal.
