Destiny 2 Warlock Players Encounter Another Reputation Bug

Destiny 2 players, particularly Warlocks, are facing another frustrating reputation gain bug following the Grandmaster Nightfall launch. While the game has seen positive momentum with new content like "Into the Light" and "The Final Shape," recent weeks have been plagued by a surge in bugs. Bungie is actively addressing many issues, but new problems seem to emerge with each weekly reset.

Recent bugs have ranged from unintended free rewards in AFK Crucible matches to overpowered Paracausal Shots with the Hawkmoon exotic. Warlocks have been disproportionately affected, previously experiencing a Gambit reputation bug that hindered their XP gains compared to Titans and Hunters. This issue, unfortunately, appears to extend beyond Gambit.

The June 25th weekly reset brought back Grandmaster Nightfalls with increased rewards and a Vanguard reputation boost. However, Warlocks are again reporting significantly lower XP gains than other classes during ritual activities, despite the double XP event. This suggests a persistent bug that may have gone unnoticed for several months. Increased player reports surfaced last week, coinciding with the observed Gambit XP discrepancy.

The Destiny 2 community is actively bringing this Warlock reputation bug to light, hoping to prompt Bungie's attention. While Bungie recently released Update 8.0.0.5, addressing various issues including Ritual Pathfinder adjustments and removing Elemental surges from Dungeons and Raids, this specific Warlock XP problem remains unacknowledged. Until addressed, players can only continue to highlight the issue.
