Corden indicated the game's development is further along than publicly perceived, although he offered no specifics. This news may disappoint fans, but it's a more optimistic timeline than previous estimates suggesting a 2027 release.

June's trailer showcased intense zombie gunfights and Mad Max-style vehicular combat in a post-apocalyptic setting. The narrative will unfold years after the initial apocalypse, focusing on human survivors establishing and defending settlements against the undead.

State of Decay 3 is slated for PC and Xbox Series X|S release. The last installment in the series launched in 2018.
