Dead by Daylight Mobile Announces End of Service

NetEase has announced the end-of-service (EOS) for their popular mobile horror game, Dead by Daylight Mobile. After a four-year run since its global Android launch, the game will officially shut down. The PC and console versions remain unaffected.

This 4v1 asymmetrical horror-survival title, a mobile adaptation of Behaviour Interactive's successful Dead by Daylight, first arrived on PC in June 2016 and then on mobile in April 2020.

Dead by Daylight Mobile pits Killers against Survivors in a thrilling game of cat and mouse. Players can choose to be a Killer, sacrificing Survivors to the Entity, or a Survivor, desperately trying to evade capture.

Dead by Daylight Mobile Shutdown Date:

The official EOS date is March 20th, 2025. The game will be removed from app stores on January 16th, 2025. Existing players can continue playing until the final shutdown date. NetEase will provide details regarding refunds, adhering to regional regulations, on January 16th, 2025.

Players wishing to continue their Dead by Daylight experience can transition to the PC or console versions. A welcome package awaits those making the switch, and loyalty rewards will be granted for in-app purchases and earned XP on the mobile version.

Before the servers go dark, download Dead by Daylight Mobile from the Google Play Store and experience the suspense for yourself.
