Cyberpunk 2077 Devs Eye Switch 2 Storage Limits
CD Projekt Red has revealed Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition will require 64GB of storage on Nintendo Switch 2. While smaller than its PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S counterparts (100-110GB), this still consumes a substantial 25% of the Switch 2's confirmed 256GB internal storage capacity.
Storage Concerns Arise for Switch 2 Owners
The June 5 release will be available both as a physical 64GB game card and digital download from Nintendo eShop. Unlike some Switch 2 titles that will ship with download codes instead of full games, Cyberpunk 2077 will include the complete experience on its cartridge.
This development raises important questions about the Switch 2's storage management. While 256GB represents a significant upgrade from the original Switch's 32GB, early indicators suggest next-gen Switch titles will demand considerably more space.
