Crunchyroll Debuts White Day Worldwide
Crunchyroll has introduced White Day: A Labyrinth Named School to its Android Game Vault. This cult classic, originally a Korean horror gem from 2001, delivers spine-chilling thrills. The Android remake launched in South Korea back in November 2015.
Globally, the 2015 mobile version was titled White Day: The School, developed jointly by ROI Games (Sonnori) and Gachyon Soft. A Windows and PS4 port followed in 2017, with PQube handling Western distribution.
White Day: A Labyrinth Named School - A tense survival horror experience
Players find themselves trapped overnight in a sinister high school, armed only with a flashlight and quick thinking. You assume the role of Hee-Min Lee, a Yeondu High student who sneaks in after hours to deliver a White Day present - only to trigger a nightmarish lockdown.
What follows is a desperate struggle against a psychotic janitor and supernatural entities, punctuated by environmental puzzles and disturbing revelations. The game masterfully replaces combat with psychological tension and unpredictability.
Standout features include procedurally changing puzzle solutions, ensuring no two playthroughs feel identical, and terrifying light-and-shadow mechanics where darkness itself becomes the enemy. Unlike conventional horror titles, White Day builds dread through sustained atmosphere rather than cheap jump scares.

Branching narrative with impactful decisions
The game features nine distinct endings shaped by how you interact with fellow students during your ordeal. Every choice - whether to rescue, abandon or betray them - alters both your relationships and the gruesome consequences you'll face.
While touch controls are well-optimized, Bluetooth controller support enhances the experience. Crunchyroll subscribers can grab this horror masterpiece directly from the Google Play Store.
