Get ready for a stellar update with LoL: Wild Rift Patch 6.1: Ascending Stars, set to launch on April 16th. This patch promises a cosmic transformation, taking you on an adventure through the Dual Nova galaxy, featuring the Challenger’s Star and Adventure’s Star.

Three new champions are set to shake up the battlefield. Ryze, the Rune Mage, unleashes massive AoE damage and can teleport teammates with his Realm Warp. Nocturne, the Eternal Nightmare, thrives in chaos, using Paranoia to shroud enemies in darkness. Zilean, the Chronokeeper, manipulates time, slowing foes and reviving allies with Chronoshift.

Several champions are getting reworked to enhance gameplay. Garen’s Courage now scales over time, making him more durable, while his Judgment ability will now shred enemy armor. Ambessa is transitioning from the jungle to the Baron lane, with adjustments to her damage and life steal. Smaller tweaks are also coming for Diana, Fiora, Jax, Sona, and Kalista.

Beyond champion updates, a new Bandle-inspired Rift will spice up non-Ranked modes, featuring Enchanted Gifts that appear through portals during the laning phase. Mages are in for a treat with updated items. The new Bandle Fantasy item provides extra burst damage, Hextech GLP800 slows enemies with frost bombs, and Malignance boosts ultimate abilities, making spellcasters even more formidable.

Ranked mode is also getting an overhaul. A new season kicks off with the Challenger’s Star, introducing updates to the Ranked store and an easier path to seasonal rewards. Midway through the patch, the Adventure’s Star unlocks, bringing AAAARAM—a thrilling new ARAM mode with augments and galactic visuals.
