Instead, fans of the franchise can look forward to Conan the Barbarian joining the fight. Available next week exclusively for premium edition holders, today's gameplay trailer showcased this legendary character in action.
Conan embodies the classic Big-Body brute archetype, known for his powerful attacks that likely inflict significant damage. While his agility and speed may be lacking, his sword's extended reach could compensate for this, adding a strategic layer to his combat style. It would be thrilling to witness Conan go head-to-head with other heavyweights like General Shao, Omni-Man, and Homelander.
Although Conan bears the striking resemblance of Arnold Schwarzenegger, his fatality—where he drowns his opponent in a pool of acid—doesn't quite match the flair and charisma of some other Mortal Kombat 1 fatalities. However, the game's appeal extends beyond just the finishing moves, and Conan's inclusion promises to enhance the gameplay experience with his unique fighting style.
