In Freedom Wars Remastered, customizing your loadout for operations is crucial for success. While your weapons and Thrones are significant and less frequently changed, Combat Items are consumable resources with a variety of uses, essential for every mission. These items, however, are finite and can be challenging to accumulate in sufficient quantities. At the game's outset, you're limited to equipping just one Combat Item at a time, but there are ways to expand this capability.

How To Equip More Combat Items In Freedom Wars Remastered

To equip more Combat Items, you'll need to unlock the appropriate Entitlements. From your cell, interact with the Window On Liberty and choose "Claim Entitlements." Navigate to the Equipment section and move to the right tab to find the One-Item Permit at the top. Each subsequent permit you acquire will increase your capacity to equip up to four Combat Items.

These permits become available early in the game, and by reaching CODE level 3, you can purchase all four. Note that each permit unlocks sequentially; you must purchase the previous one to access the next. When equipping a Combat Item, such as a Frag Grenade, you'll have the entire stack available at the start of the Operation. Additionally, your Accessory can equip one Combat Item, which it can use independently.

Where To Get More Combat Items In Freedom Wars Remastered

As you progress beyond the initial missions, you'll unlock The Warren, a HUB area. Here, on the upper story along the right side, you'll find Zakka, a store where you can not only buy weapons but also purchase Combat Items. Choose the "Buy Items" option to access the Munitions and Medical Supplies lists.

• Munitions include items that directly damage enemies during combat.
• Medical Supplies cover items that heal, cure ailments, or refill ammunition.

Each Combat Item is sold individually, and purchasing large quantities can be costly in Entitlement Points. If you need many Medkits, consider donating old resources to afford them. While Operations may occasionally reward you with Combat Items, this isn't a reliable method for stockpiling them, given the time required and the potential to use more than you gain.
