Microids is bringing back the beloved 1994 action-adventure game, Little Big Adventure, this autumn with a remastered version titled Little Big Adventure – Twinsen's Quest. This updated release, hitting all major platforms, boasts modern enhancements while retaining the original's charm. Developed by 2.21 and published by Microids, the remake builds upon the legacy of Adeline Software International, the original developer now defunct.

The project benefits from a complete visual overhaul and refined gameplay mechanics. Key improvements include a compelling narrative with deeper themes, redesigned level layouts and controls, an upgraded version of Twinsen's signature weapon, a fresh artistic direction, and a new soundtrack composed by the original's composer, Philippe Vachey.

Little Big Adventure – Twinsen's Quest plunges players back into the vibrant world of Twinsun, a planet inhabited by four harmonious species. This peace is shattered by Dr. Funfrock's inventions of cloning and teleportation, leading to his tyrannical rule. Players assume the role of Twinsen, embarking on a thrilling adventure filled with challenging puzzles and formidable enemies to overthrow Funfrock and restore balance to Twinsun.

Following previous re-releases on GOG, PC, Mac, Android, and iOS, this remake marks a significant return for the franchise. The development team, 2.21, announced the project in 2021, culminating in this highly anticipated launch on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG) later this year.
