Barely a day after the Deluxe Edition launched (and less than a week before the standard edition!), Firaxis unveiled their 2025 Post-Launch Roadmap: the Crossroads of the World DLC. Included with the Deluxe and Founders’ Editions, this DLC packs two new leaders, four new civilizations, and four new natural wonders, arriving in two releases: early and late March 2025.

Ada Lovelace, alongside Great Britain and Carthage civilizations, and four new natural wonders, are slated for early March. Simón Bolívar, Nepal, and Bulgaria will follow later in the month.

While specifics are scarce, let's speculate! These are predictions only, based on historical context and real-world information. No offense is intended to any culture or people.

Ada Lovelace: Leader Ability, Attributes, and Agenda Predictions

Ada Lovelace, the pioneering computer programmer, will likely be a science-focused leader. Given her aristocratic background (daughter of Lord Byron and Annabella Milbanke), her bonuses might center around Codex and Specialist mechanics—currently untapped areas, making them a perfect fit. Combined with predicted Great Britain bonuses, she seems poised for a Science Victory.

Simón Bolívar: Leader Ability, Attributes, and Agenda Predictions

Simón Bolívar, "The Liberator," a familiar face from Civ VI, will probably embody a Militarist/Expansionist playstyle in Civ VII, leveraging the new Commanders mechanic. Unlike Trung Trac, who focuses on Commander bonuses, Bolívar might excel at logistical command, keeping his forces constantly advancing.

Carthage: Unique Bonus, Unit, Infrastructure, and Wonder Predictions

Carthage, a wealthy trading hub, might focus on naval trade and coastal dominance. However, with Aksum already filling that niche, Carthage could specialize in Trade Route capacity and Culture bonuses from international trade, perhaps with a Colossus wonder synergy.

Great Britain: Unique Bonus, Unit, Infrastructure, and Wonder Predictions

A Civilization series veteran, Great Britain will likely be a Modern Age civilization (perhaps unlocked from the Normans or automatically available when playing as Ada Lovelace). Expect bonuses tied to naval production and trade, reflecting its island nation status, and potentially production boosts from Oxford University.

Nepal: Unique Bonus, Unit, Infrastructure, and Wonder Predictions

Nepal, nestled in the Himalayas, will likely be a Modern Age civilization specializing in military and cultural advantages, potentially with units benefiting from mountainous terrain. Wonder synergy remains to be seen.

Bulgaria: Unique Bonus, Unit, Infrastructure, and Wonder Predictions

Bulgaria, making its Civilization debut, will likely emphasize military and economy, potentially focusing on Cavalry and benefiting from Traditions and Social Policies. Confirmed as an Exploration Age civilization, its design might reflect its post-Ottoman era.

Crossroads of the World DLC: Natural Wonder Bonus Predictions

The DLC includes four new Natural Wonders, which, like other Natural Wonders in Civ VII, will likely provide passive tile yield bonuses rather than unique gameplay effects.
