The journey from script to screen for "Daredevil: Born Again" was anything but straightforward, marked by numerous revisions and reshapes. However, amidst the chaos, there was one episode that remained untouched: Episode 5. Interestingly, this particular episode happens to be actor Charlie Cox's least favorite of the entire season.

"I don't know if this is of interest, but I will say this — among all the changes, there was one episode we didn't alter at all," Cox shared in a recent interview with The Playlist.

"This is the bank episode, and it was part of the original shoot. We filmed it before the strike. It was part of the original draft, and personally, I wasn't fond of it."

"That feels like a 1970s scenario," Cox commented to the outlet. "With today’s advanced technology, that wouldn’t hold up. Also, I didn’t think the method used for the theft was convincing enough."

"I really opposed this episode, yet I receive countless messages saying people adore it. It just shows you never truly know. Taste is so subjective," Cox remarked. "Everyone has different preferences. I’ve heard that this episode ranks among the highest-rated Disney+ shows internally."

In fact, we thoroughly enjoyed Episode 5. As mentioned in our Daredevil: Born Again Episodes 5 and 6 Review, "This episode is incredibly well-executed. I can’t recall the last time a Marvel show kept me grinning throughout and held my attention from beginning to end. It also highlights something crucial given Matt Murdock’s minimal appearances so far: what makes him such a distinctive and exceptional hero, even without his costume."
