Using Flash Pods

Despite its massive size, Doshaguma is surprisingly agile, making it a challenging target, especially for melee users. Flash Pods provide a temporary stun, blinding the beast for precious seconds, allowing you to attack or even mount it.

Targeting the Legs

Prioritize attacking Doshaguma's forelegs (3-star weakness) for optimal damage. While the hind legs have a 2-star weakness, they're less effective targets. The head also boasts a 3-star weakness. Although less damaging, breaking its tail yields valuable monster parts.

Fire and Lightning Attacks

Fire and lightning are the most effective elements against Doshaguma. Bowgun users should utilize Flaming and Thunder ammo. Equipping fire-enhancing decorations further boosts your damage. Focus fire attacks on the head and torso; lightning attacks are most effective against the head.

Blastblight Awareness

Doshaguma inflicts Blastblight, causing explosions if the gauge fills or you receive a heavy hit. Nulberries or Deodorant cure this ailment. Alternatively, three consecutive dodge rolls can remove the effect.

Utilizing Traps

While direct attacks are crucial, utilize the environment's natural traps. Remember to sheath your weapon before using your slinger and ensure the monster is directly above the trap before activating it.

Capturing Doshaguma

To capture Doshaguma, reduce its HP to 20% or less. Place a Shock or Pitfall Trap, then lure it into the trap using Luring Ammo or meat. Once trapped, repeatedly use tranquilizer ammo to subdue it.
