Capcom's recent trademark application for "Dino Crisis" in Japan has ignited excitement among fans. While not a guaranteed new game release, the public filing strongly indicates Capcom is actively exploring possibilities for the franchise. This trademark secures the company's rights for future projects, potentially including a remake of the beloved dinosaur survival horror series.
Originally conceived by Shinji Mikami, the creative mind behind Resident Evil, the first Dino Crisis game debuted on the PlayStation 1 in 1999. Though followed by two sequels, the series went dormant after 2003, leaving fans yearning for a revival.
