According to Downdetector, a sister site of IGN, numerous users reported issues with the platform, and the problem persisted throughout the morning. Our team at IGN also encountered difficulties accessing Spotify, and when we managed to open the app, it failed to play any music.

Spotify has officially acknowledged the disruption and is actively working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. They have also debunked rumors circulating about the outage being caused by a security hack, confirming these reports to be false.
