Valve continues to provide regular updates to Deadlock, despite abandoning a fixed release schedule. The recent patch, while not enormous, is a significant update. Detailed patch notes are available on the game's forum.

Four new heroes were added on January 18th, followed swiftly by balance adjustments. Holliday's Crackshot ability now affects units, halving its cooldown when doing so. Calico's Ava ability can now destroy objects during its activation.

Existing heroes also received tweaks: Kelvin's health increased (600 to 650), Vendicta's bullet speed reduced (810 to 740), and her movement speed lowered (9 to 8). In total, 11 heroes, including the new additions, were balanced.

Deadlock remains in closed beta, maintaining a player base consistently between 7,000 and 20,000 players.
