During the IGN Fan Fest on February 27, 2025, South Korean developer Neople treated fans to a new gameplay trailer for The First Berserker: Khazan. The trailer showcased Khazan engaging in battles against an umbrella-wielding boss and two other formidable beasts.

The umbrella-wielding boss appears to be a significant part of the main storyline, as evidenced by a brief cutscene shown before the battle commences. Although the HUD was not visible during the fight, making detailed information scarce, the trailer also introduced two other bosses: Shactuka, a wolf-like beast, and the Specter of Bhangau, a ram-like creature wielding a hammer and spike.

Possible Awakened Form

A highlight of the trailer was Khazan's transformation into what appears to be an awakened form. This new form deviates from his usual samurai-like appearance, enveloping him in full body armor with a striking red glow. In this state, Khazan wields a variety of weapons, executing a range of powerful attacks.
