EA unveils Battlefield Labs, a closed beta testing program for upcoming Battlefield titles. This internal test will allow select players to experience core gameplay mechanics and concepts, though not all features tested will necessarily appear in the final game.

Participants will be required to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before accessing the pre-alpha build. Initial testing will focus on core combat and the game's destruction system, with later phases dedicated to balance adjustments. Conquest and Breakthrough modes will be available.

Pre-registration is open for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. A limited number of players (a few thousand) will receive invitations in the coming weeks, with plans for broader regional expansion later.

The developers have confirmed the game is in a critical stage of development, though a release date remains unannounced. Development is a collaborative effort between four studios: DICE, Motive Studios, Criterion Games, and Ripple Effect Studios.
