2025 is set to be a monumental year for DC Comics, with one of the most anticipated releases being the sequel to the iconic Batman: Hush saga, aptly titled Batman: Hush 2. This eagerly awaited follow-up is especially significant as it marks the return of DC's President, Publisher, and Chief Creative Officer, Jim Lee, to the helm of a monthly Batman comic. The storyline will commence in Batman #158, scheduled for release in March, serving as a direct continuation of the critically acclaimed Hush series that ran from 2002 to 2004.

39 ImagesSince the original Hush saga concluded, DC has explored various Hush-related narratives, but Batman: Hush 2 stands out as the first to be crafted by the original creative team. This sequel brings back the powerhouse team of writer Jeph Loeb, artist Jim Lee, inker Scott Williams, colorist Alex Sinclair, and letterer Richard Starkings.

Building on the recent epilogue featured in the Batman: Hush 20th Anniversary Edition, Hush 2 introduces a gripping new mystery. Batman uncovers evidence that his childhood friend, Tommy Elliot, survived their last confrontation, setting the stage for Hush to manipulate the Dark Knight's network of allies and adversaries.

The Hush 2 storyline will unfold across Batman #158-163, with the first issue, #158, hitting stores on March 26. Following this arc, DC plans to relaunch the series with a new #1 issue and a fresh costume, ushering in a new era for Batman under the creative direction of writer Matt Fraction and artist Jorge Jimenez.
