Ayaneo Unveils Two New Android Gaming Devices at GDC 2025
Ayaneo, a Chinese company renowned for its Windows-based handheld gaming PCs, made waves at GDC 2025 in San Francisco with the launch of its first Android gaming devices. Founded in 2020, Ayaneo has steadily expanded its offerings, and these new additions mark a significant step into the Android gaming market.

Ayaneo's New Android Gaming Devices
Ayaneo introduced two exciting new devices: the Ayaneo Gaming Pad, an Android gaming tablet, and the Ayaneo Pocket S2, a handheld gaming console. Both boast Qualcomm's Snapdragon G3 Gen 3 platform, placing them among the first to utilize this cutting-edge technology. This platform promises substantial improvements in both CPU and GPU performance compared to its predecessor.
The Ayaneo Gaming Pad features an 8.3-inch LCD screen with a vibrant 1440p resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Gamers will appreciate the inclusion of hardware-accelerated ray tracing and Snapdragon Game Super Resolution for enhanced visuals. Fast and stable online gaming is ensured with Wi-Fi 7 connectivity. Its premium design includes a glass back and a CNC-machined metal frame. Adding to its versatility, the Gaming Pad also boasts impressive camera capabilities: a 50MP main camera, a 13MP ultra-wide lens, and a 5MP front-facing camera—a rarity among gaming tablets.
Complementing the tablet is the Ayaneo Pocket S2, a handheld console with a 6.3-inch 1440p display. This handheld features an upgraded Hall-effect joystick, linear triggers, and dual X-axis motors for immersive haptic feedback. Ayaneo's proprietary gaming software, AyaSpace and AyaHome, provides comprehensive game management and customization options. Like the Gaming Pad, the Pocket S2 leverages the Snapdragon G3 Gen 3 platform for optimized energy efficiency and performance, including hardware-accelerated ray tracing.
