Assassin's Creed Shadows' Release Date Shifts Again to March 20, 2025

Ubisoft has announced another delay for the highly anticipated Assassin's Creed Shadows, pushing the release date back to March 20, 2025. Initially slated for a February 14, 2025 release, this marks a five-week postponement from the previously announced date. The publisher cites the need to integrate player feedback to further refine and polish the game experience.

The initial delay, announced in September 2024, shifted the launch from November 15, 2024 to February 14, 2025. While the first delay was attributed to development challenges concerning historical accuracy, this latest postponement directly addresses fan feedback. Marc-Alexis Coté, Vice President Executive Producer of the Assassin's Creed franchise, emphasized Ubisoft's commitment to delivering a high-quality, immersive experience shaped by player input. Both delays, he stated, provide crucial time for refinement and polishing.

Following the September announcement, Ubisoft offered pre-order refunds and free access to the first expansion for those who had pre-ordered.
