Extinction marks the thrilling conclusion to the main ARK storyline, presenting players with a unique set of challenges. Whether you've braved the trials of Scorched Earth and Aberration, Extinction promises a fresh and daunting experience.
In this desolate landscape, water sources have vanished, compelling survivors to innovate their strategies for obtaining loot. You'll navigate a post-apocalyptic Earth, ravaged by the mysterious Element, and uncover the origins of the Ark system. The environment is fraught with terrifying creatures, including both robotic and organic rexes, setting the stage for intense encounters.
Alongside the new map, several updates have been released. Players can now benefit from the Thick Skin insulation buff, enhancing survival capabilities. In multiplayer PVE settings, creature movement has been adjusted to prevent griefing, with creatures wandering away from commonly camped locations. Additionally, there's a new limit on the number of light sources that can be placed, aiming to reduce spammy builds and enhance gameplay experience.
