Alien Movies in (Chronological) Order

1. AVP: Alien vs. Predator (2004)

The Xenomorph saga begins chronologically with the first crossover film, AVP. Set in 2004 and directed by Paul W. S. Anderson, this movie brings to life the epic battle between the Xenomorphs and the Predators, or "Yautja." It reveals that for millennia, Predators have been visiting Earth, where ancient cults would sacrifice themselves to Xenomorph facehuggers to create adult Xenomorphs for the Predators to hunt as the "ultimate prey." As expected, the 2004 hunting trip doesn't go smoothly.

2. Aliens vs Predator: Requiem (2007)

Continuing in the present day, and thus before the rest of the Alien franchise, the crossover sequel Aliens vs Predator: Requiem follows directly from AVP. A new threat emerges in the form of an Alien-Predator hybrid, the "Predalien," which wreaks havoc in a small Colorado town. A seasoned Predator arrives to deal with the chaos, leading to a series of intense confrontations. This was the last crossover film in the Alien franchise.
