Remedy's recent financial report highlights this achievement, attributing the milestone to the game's success and the subsequent release of the Lake House expansion and the Alan Wake 2 Deluxe Edition. The strong sales have enabled the game to begin generating royalties after covering development and marketing expenses.

The studio also provided updates on upcoming projects. Control 2, a collaboration with Annapurna Interactive, is nearing completion of its pre-production phase and will enter full production by the end of February 2025. Simultaneously, the Max Payne 1 & 2 Remake is progressing steadily in full production.
