May 2025 PlayStation Plus Game Catalog Confirmed
Sony has announced an exciting lineup of games for the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog in May 2025, promising a diverse range of titles for subscribers to enjoy. The announcement was made via a detailed PlayStation.Blog post, showcasing a total of six games for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members, set to be available starting May 20. This selection caters to various gaming preferences and spans different genres and eras.
Subscribers at the Extra tier are in for a treat with nine new titles added to the Game Catalog. Leading the pack is Sand Land, an action RPG based on the renowned Akira Toriyama manga. This game is available for both PS4 and PS5, promising an immersive experience for fans of the genre.
Other notable additions include *Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted – Full Time Edition* and the comprehensive *S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy*. The latter's enhanced version for PS5, alongside PC and Xbox Series X | S, was also announced today and is scheduled for release on May 20. GSC Game World has confirmed that owners of the original trilogy on console will receive the Enhanced Edition at no additional cost, though it remains unclear if this benefit extends to PlayStation Plus subscribers.For PlayStation Plus Premium members, there's a classic gem to look forward to: Battle Engine Aquila. This sci-fi action game, playable on both PS4 and PS5, offers players the unique experience of piloting a versatile war machine capable of engaging enemies in both aerial and ground combat.
