With this update, you're free to choose any of these classic suspects and place them in any scenario you desire, unbound by specific crime scenes or case files. This flexibility allows you to mix and match with the newer 2023 cast, offering endless possibilities for your game sessions.

This mode harks back to the original 1949 rules, bringing old-school mechanics into play. In this nostalgic setting, tokens start at designated spots on the board, with Miss Scarlet taking the first move unless she's absent, in which case Colonel Mustard steps in.
The Retro Rules Set changes the gameplay dynamics significantly; you can only make accusations while in a room, and Clue Cards are omitted entirely. Additionally, players cannot move through squares occupied by others, adding a strategic layer to the game.
