Dive into the engaging world of Classic Tri Peaks solitaire, a card game that combines strategy with a dash of luck. Known also as Three Peaks, Tri Towers, or Triple Peaks, this timeless game challenges you to dismantle three majestic peaks constructed from a single deck of cards.
The game kicks off with an intriguing setup: eighteen cards are laid out face-down on the tableau, creating three overlapping pyramids, each with three tiers. Ten additional cards are placed face-up atop these pyramids, setting the stage for your strategic journey. The remaining twenty-four cards form the stock, with the top card flipped to the waste pile, marking the start of your play.
Your mission is to clear the tableau by moving cards to the waste pile. The key rule? You can only move a card if it's one rank higher or lower than the current top card of the waste pile, regardless of suit. Imagine the sequence: 7-8-9-10-9-10-J-10-9-8, and so on. As you progress, any face-down cards that become uncovered are flipped face-up, revealing new opportunities to continue your sequence.
