Experience the timeless fun of the classic offline 29 card game, playable anytime and anywhere! Known also as the 28 Card Game with slight rule variations, this beloved South Asian trick-taking game features the Jack and Nine as the highest-ranking cards in each suit.

Typically, 29 is enjoyed by four players in fixed partnerships, with partners sitting opposite each other. The game uses 32 cards from a standard 52-card deck, comprising eight cards per suit: hearts, diamonds, clubs, and spades. The card hierarchy within each suit is as follows: J-9-A-10-K-Q-8-7. The objective is to capture tricks that contain high-value cards.

The point values assigned to the cards are:

• Jacks: 3 points each
• Nines: 2 points each
• Aces: 1 point each
• Tens: 1 point each
• Other cards (Kings, Queens, Eights, Sevens): no points

This results in a total of 28 points from the cards. In certain versions, an additional point is awarded for winning the last trick, bringing the total to 29 points, which is how the game got its name. However, many modern players do not count the last trick's point, yet the game retains the name "29" even when played with only 28 points.

Traditionally, the Twos, Threes, Fours, and Fives, which are removed from the deck, serve as trump indicators, with each player receiving one of each suit. The Sixes are used for keeping score, with each partnership using one red and one black Six.
