Samsung Notes is a powerful tool that allows you to create and edit documents seamlessly across your mobile, tablet, or PC, and collaborate with others effortlessly. With the S Pen, you can add annotations to PDFs and enrich your documents with images or voice recordings. The app's versatility extends to its ability to connect with various applications like PDF, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint, enhancing your productivity.

Getting started is easy. To create a new note, simply tap the + icon located in the bottom right corner of the main screen. Your newly created notes will automatically have the “sdocx” extension, ensuring compatibility and easy management.

Security is paramount, and Samsung Notes offers robust options to protect your notes. From the main screen, tap More Options in the upper right corner, select Settings, and then choose Lock Note. You can then select your preferred note locking method and set a password. To secure individual notes, tap More Options on the note's screen and select Lock Note, ensuring your sensitive information remains safe.

For those who enjoy a more personal touch, Samsung Notes allows you to create handwritten notes by tapping the Handwriting icon. Your handwriting will be displayed directly on the note, adding a unique flair to your documentation. Adding photos is just as straightforward; tap the photo icon within your note to either take a new photo or load and edit an existing one, with the option to add tags for better organization.

Voice recordings can also be integrated into your notes. By tapping the Voice Recording icon, you can capture sound and create a note with audio, perfect for meetings or lectures. To enhance your writing experience, tap the Pen icon to access a variety of writing tools, including pens, fountain pens, pencils, highlighters, and choose from different colors and thicknesses. If you need to make corrections, the Eraser icon allows you to select and remove unwanted content.

Importing notes and memos is a breeze with the Smart Switch feature, enabling you to bring in data from S Note and Memo saved on other devices. Additionally, you can import previously created notes and memos using your Samsung account, ensuring all your important information is consolidated in one place.

Regarding app access permissions, Samsung Notes requires certain permissions to provide its full range of services. Required permissions include access to Storage for saving or loading document files. Optional permissions such as Photos and Videos, Notifications, Music and Audio, Phone, Microphone, and Camera enhance the functionality but are not mandatory for using the app's basic features.
