Discover everything you need to know about social security for self-employed workers through the **RSTI (Self-Employed Workers Social Regime) mobile application**. This informative app, provided by the CNPS, is your go-to resource for understanding the benefits and processes related to the social security that self-employed workers are entitled to. It offers a range of features, including learning more about RSTI, simulating your contributions, locating and contacting an agency, and much more.

What is RSTI?

The Self-Employed Workers' Social Scheme (RSTI) is a comprehensive social cover initiative by the National Social Security Fund (CNPS). It aims to provide self-employed workers with essential protections in cases of illness, accidents, maternity, and upon retirement, it ensures a lifelong pension.

Who is a Self-Employed Worker?

RSTI targets all self-employed individuals residing in Côte d'Ivoire, whether they are Ivorian or foreign nationals. This includes farmers, artisans, traders, transporters, athletes, artists, consultants, miners, non-salaried entrepreneurs, religious figures, and Ivorians working abroad. This new regime is designed to safeguard those who operate independently.

What are the Advantages of RSTI?

In the event of illness or an accident causing incapacity, self-employed workers receive income based on what they have declared to the CNPS. For maternity cases, beneficiaries receive income for 98 days. Upon reaching retirement age at 60, self-employed individuals are entitled to a lifelong pension. In the unfortunate event of death, this pension is transferred to the beneficiaries under specific conditions.
