As the Might and Mastery season in Pokémon GO draws to a close, the final week, dubbed Final Strike: GO Battle Week, is set to commence on May 21st, 2025, and will run through until May 27th. This climactic week promises to bring your Kubfu's journey to a thrilling conclusion.

What’s in Store during the Final Strike: GO Battle Week?

After weeks of dedication and effort, it's time to evolve your determined Kubfu into the legendary Urshifu, available in two distinct forms. Your battling style will determine which form you unlock. For the Single Strike style, ensure Kubfu is your buddy and defeat 30 Dark-type Pokémon in raids or Max Battles. If you're aiming for the Rapid Strike style during Final Strike: GO Battle Week, follow the same process but target 30 Water-type Pokémon instead.

Additionally, a Special Research quest will continue the ongoing Seasonal storyline, available until June 3rd, 2025. This quest rewards you with Kubfu Candy, Mysterious Components, and encounters with themed Pokémon such as Charcadet, complete with a Special Background.

May 25th Is a Special Day

Mark your calendars for May 25th, as it's the Gigantamax Machamp Max Battle Day. From 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, Gigantamax Machamp will make its debut in six-star Max Battles. During this event, several bonuses will enhance your gameplay experience.

You'll need to travel only one-fourth the usual distance to earn Max Particles. The storage cap for Max Particles will increase to 1,600, and all Power Spots will host Gigantamax Battles. During this window, you'll receive 8× Max Particles from these battles and gain the opportunity to make two extra Special Trades.

Don't miss out on collecting Max Mushrooms, which temporarily double the damage output of your Dynamax or Gigantamax Pokémon. You can use multiple mushrooms to extend the duration, though the power boost remains constant.
