The legendary Pokémon, Black Kyurem and White Kyurem, are set to make their much-anticipated debut during the Pokémon Go Tour: Unova – Global event. With their arrival comes exciting new Adventure Effects that will enhance your Pokémon-catching experience outside of battle. To maximize your earnings, don't forget to utilize the Tour Pass.

Black Kyurem’s signature move, Freeze Shock, unleashes electrically charged ice for 10 minutes, immobilizing wild Pokémon and making them significantly easier to catch. On the other hand, White Kyurem’s Ice Burn slows down the target ring during encounters, making it simpler to achieve those coveted Excellent Throws. Both effects can be extended by 10-minute increments, up to a maximum of two hours at a time and a total of 24 hours.

Throughout the event, you'll have the opportunity to challenge Black Kyurem and White Kyurem in five-star raids and gather Fusion Energy. Once you fuse Zekrom or Reshiram with a Kyurem that knows Glaciate, the moves Freeze Shock or Ice Burn will replace Glaciate. These moves will revert to Glaciate once the Pokémon are separated. Note that Kyurem currently cannot learn these moves through Charged TM or Elite Charged TM.

You'll have the choice between two event badges – Black Version, featuring Reshiram, or White Version, featuring Zekrom. Choosing the Black Version means that Kyurem encountered after defeating Black Kyurem will know Glaciate, and you’ll receive Reshiram-themed Special Research rewards. Opting for the White Version grants you Zekrom-themed Special Research rewards, with Kyurem encountered after defeating White Kyurem also knowing Glaciate.

To enhance your progression, leverage the Tour Pass, which unlocks additional rewards and boosts your Adventure Effects. Earn Tour Points by catching Pokémon, participating in raids, and hatching Eggs. Alternatively, expedite your progress with quick Pass Tasks. Each Major Milestone you reach will boost your Catch XP and extend the duration of either Freeze Shock or Ice Burn.

This premium version offers an immediate encounter with Victini, more event-themed encounters, an exclusive avatar item, and the new Lucky Trinket.
