The Pokémon TCG Pocket app's Blastoise Wonder Pick event continues! Phase two offers fresh cosmetic goodies.

The in-game shop now boasts new Blastoise-themed items: a Blastoise icon, coin, card sleeves, and a striking blue Blastoise playmat.

Event Timeline:

• Event Phase Two: Ends January 22nd.
• Event Shop Open: Remains open until January 28th. Stock up before it closes!

Following a busy holiday season filled with free booster packs and Pack Hourglasses, the event pace has slowed. Many players have completed the Mythical Island booster packs and await the next expansion (rumored for late January). Note that Pack Hourglasses are confirmed usable in future expansions, prompting many to save them.

This Blastoise event provides a fresh incentive for daily logins. The new cosmetics are highly sought after. Players can also exchange surplus event tickets for up to 1,000 Shinedust (50 Shinedust per ticket).

Blastoise Wonder Pick Event: New Rewards Detailed

The first phase (starting January 6th) introduced Squirtle and Charmander promo cards (unique artwork, same attacks as standard versions). Phase one rewards (a Blue-themed backdrop and a Blue & Blastoise cover) remain available. New missions, focusing on Wonder Pick participation and collecting Fire/Water-type cards, award Event Shop Tickets. Bonus Picks also offer tickets. All missions from both phases are cumulative.

Daily logins are crucial for completing the event and acquiring all items, especially since trading these limited promo cards might not be possible, according to rumors.
