Pokémon GO Tour: Unova Brings Black and White Kyurem!

Get ready, Pokémon GO trainers! The highly anticipated Black and White Kyurem are finally arriving as part of the global GO Tour: Unova event, taking place March 1st and 2nd, from 10 AM to 6 PM local time.

This legendary duo, previously a subject of much speculation and a surprise accidental release in 2023, will be available in raids. Even better, shiny versions of both Black and White Kyurem will be catchable! The event also offers special in-game backgrounds inspired by the original Pokémon Black and White games.

More Than Just Raids:

The excitement doesn't stop at catching Kyurem. Similar to last year's Necrozma fusion, players can fuse Black Kyurem with Zekrom (using 1,000 Volt Fusion Energy, 30 Kyurem Candy, and 30 Zekrom Candy) or White Kyurem with Reshiram (requiring 1,000 Blaze Fusion Energy, 30 Kyurem Candy, and 30 Reshiram Candy). These fusions unlock unique attacks – Freeze Shock for Black Kyurem's fusion and Ice Burn for White Kyurem's – and are reversible at no cost. The necessary fusion energy is earned by defeating Kyurem in raids.

Exclusive Event Rewards:

Completing these fusions also unlocks special event backgrounds. Two distinct backgrounds, themed after Pokémon Black and White, are available individually through each fusion. Unlocking both fusions grants access to a third, unique background.
